New York 2018

Short trip to NYC with the intention to do a lot of walking and shooting. Rain said "are you sure about that?", and humidity said, "No" so I never got in my groove. Was super rusty finding my shots and even rustier finding my focus with the manual 50mm.




Most days started with a layer of fog in the sky. Most of the time it stayed that way





Had to hit up a rooftop anyways




When it rains, hit up the galleries.




Didn't have time to hit up the Whitney so I settled for the high line walk




The Met

Can't do NY this year

So my girlfriend says she misses NY. I do too. Plane tickets are so ridiculous now though that I can't afford to fly out there this year. Too bad.

Make a wish

I want one too. But not a bulldog.

Caffeine

Monday = caffeine in the morning.

I will save everybody some time and mention that Tetley tea in Toronto tastes different than the same variety bought in Los Angeles. How do I know? I have 80 bags worth. I will stock up next time I'm home.

By "everybody" of course I mean the 4 people that actually read this blog. *tear*

Towers

I have a thing for water towers, more specifically, water towers on old buildings. I have no idea why. They are just have a cool silhouette, and always make an interesting skyline.

Urban

Jaywalking, construction, hot dog vendors. Three things that Toronto has in common with NY.

Toronto dogs are better though.

I miss real cities

Toronto reminds me of New York, which reminds me of Toronto.

Get to travel again....
