Leaving Cat Ba

Thinking back, it was a surreal experience doing the Ha long + Cat ba island combo. I think its remote location coupled with the strangeness of being on a boat for that long made it seem like I dreamed the whole thing up.



Took this waiting for our van. The kid was diggin her panda ballon.



Wished I had a longer lens to capture her face better.

We arrived when they were celebrating the 50th anniversary of their leader. We didn't really participate in the festivities other than eat fresh crab.
